Basil, rosemary, thyme — cut from the kitchen garden the morning you pick up.
A loose bundle of three rotating herbs, snipped that morning and tied with kitchen twine. The garden sits a few steps from the back door because that's where you actually use herbs from, not down the hill. We cut them when you order, not days ahead, so the basil hasn't bruised and the rosemary still smells like the bush.
What's in the bundle changes with the weather. In summer it's heavy on basil with chives and parsley alongside; come fall it tilts toward sage, oregano, and thyme. If something is going strong — a flush of mint, a fennel frond worth saving, a few sprigs of tarragon — we'll throw it in.
Stand the bundle stems-down in a glass of water on the counter (cover loosely with a bag if you want it to last longer) or roll the herbs in a barely damp paper towel and refrigerate. Use within four or five days for the brightest flavor.
Fresh goods are pickup-only — they don’t love a delivery van.
